The Official 2011 Sonoran Monsoon Season ended with September, but the rains keep coming.
We're still technically in a drought here, but the water from the past four months of liquid skies has turned the parched landscape into a sea of velvety green.
During most of the notable monsoon storms, sonicanta.com was there, braving the swirling tempests with recorder in hand.
Sometimes gathering field audio in all its furious purity.
Other times documenting the simple joys of improvising under the wide-open sky with lightning and thunder in accompaniment while trying to stay high and dry.
And as always, it is all available HERE for the listening..
